“Get ready to dance to a Badrawn original composition. What drew me to this piece is the tension and release—the aggressiveness straight into softness, well that's what I hear, lol.

And those time signature changes?! They’ll challenge us—but don’t worry, I’ll walk us through it all. Most times we work within the framework of 8 and 4 counts and that feels normal and comfortable. But, working with this piece of music will give us a chance to go beyond our comfort zone and help us when we are faced with future surprise situations of dancing to odd meter time signatures. As far as movement, we will be working with Project Band concepts, cycling between accented and juicy movements, symmetry, traveling and direction changes.”
