Class 2: Leila's Live Music Experience in Egypt - Leila Farid with Georges Lammam on violin, Naser Musa on oud, Susu Pampanin on percussion 

While our experiences with live Arab music as dancers in the US is quite different than that of someone who danced professionally in Egypt, the lessons that can be learned from a dancer with the talent and experience of Leila Farid are priceless!

Join Leila (and musicians) as she explains, demonstrates, and leads exercises relating to and created by her many years of being a featured performer – with her own band – in the Arab world! Musician/dancer interaction, entrances and exits, use of stage, how to handle the inevitable disconnects….. and so much more…. will be discussed.

It won’t hurt that the participating musicians (Georges Lammam, Naser Musa, Susu Pampanin, Amina Goodyear) have a wealth of experience in the dance world too!! The impromptu conversations will be equally fun and educational!
