Is the Karavan Studio experience limited to a specific location? Or does the internet allow us to maintain that "Konnection" regardless of where we are?
Students have been joining Karavan classes remotely for at least a decade, but what happens if the instructor is also remote? Let's find out! Come join the first Remote Instructor/Zoom Only Karavan class! (Because Victoria lives in Arizona!)
This upbeat, fun choreography is set to the Arabic pop music of Project Band contributor Kamal Dayekh! We will be learning a variety of traveling steps and patterns, using some interesting arm frames and "jives," (that's a specific sequence of arm/hand movements, for those that don't speak Karavanese) and moving off of the steady beat at times to follow the vocals/melody. If those are skills you want to improve on, we'll be breaking them down and drilling them as we go.
Speaking of "Karavanese," for those who might not be familiar with some of the terms used to describe movements, stances, or directions of travel, Victoria will include a glossary, diagrams, and music "maps" as a supplement.

Note to San Antonio Karavan students:
I will be at the studio for this class so you may either participate from home OR with a group at Karavan Studio! - Karen
