A Choreography from the heart!  Inspired by love, nostalgia, and rich Arabic vocals, this class brings deep emotional expression to the stage.

“I leapt with excitement when I heard the Lammam Ensemble play this song at GoLive! last year! Originally sung by Lebanese Superstar, Wael Kfoury. This piece of music takes me back to my Arab night club years in Houston, TX. It is also one of the songs that I actually think I could sing (badly) at an Arabic karaoke some time. It plays in my car – on purpose – several times a week. This song practically lives in my car—it’s karaoke-worthy! The structure is simple, symmetrical, balanced. And our dance will be too. BUT participants in this choreography can expect to get a zoomed in view of EVERYTHING THAT WE TALK ABOUT in Project Band with regards to using vocals as our primary inspiration (for MOVEMENT not miming).

The title of the song translates-ish to “The first time I have loved” (Baateriflick – “I confess to you.”)”
