New to belly dancing and wondering what it takes to move from the studio to the stage?
Been doing it a while, but looking to revisit and fine-tune some of the “basics” that can make the difference between a classroom exercise, and a performance?
Join remote teacher Victoria in the studio or on Zoom for a slower-tempo, lyrical choreography to Nancy Ajram’s Albi Ya Albi, designed to pair with the Beginner class that precedes it.
This familiar favorite from the Karavan class playlist has just the right vibe to work on developing awareness of where our center of gravity is and how it shifts as we move, what shapes our arms and legs are making, and how it all connects through the torso.
Victoria’s style of choreography is designed to reflect the structure of the music, so we will also be working on basic listening and memory skills. It’s not required that you perform this choreography, of course… but I bet you will want to!

Note to San Antonio Karavan students:
I will be at the studio for this class so you may either participate from home OR with a group at Karavan Studio! - Karen
